Huang announced two major developments of Nvidia’s expansion in China, reported the state-run broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) on Tuesday morning, Beijing Time.

The first is that the U.S. government has approved Nvidia’s filling for export licenses so that the company can start shipping and selling H20 chips to the Chinese market, Huang told reporters, adding that “I’m looking forward to shipping H20s” and he felt “very happy” with the “very good news.”

The second development is that Nvidia is announcing a new graphics processing unit (GPU) called RTX Pro, which is very important because it is designed for computer graphics, digital twins and artificial intelligence (AI), Huang said.

CCTV also reported Huang will attend that opening ceremony of China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) launched between July 16 to 20 in Beijing, and take part in participate in related activities. CCTV attributed the information to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The reported noted the attendance is during Huang’s third visit to mainland China this year.

Huang arrived in Beijing last weekend, and was invited to attend the third annual CISCE this week, Tencent Tech News cited people familiar with the matter on Monday. The news media outlet also revealed a photo shooting Huang and Xiaomi Corporation CEO Lei Jun next to a Xiaomi-branded car.

In a statement from Nvidia on Tuesday, the California-based company confirmed it would consume H20 chip sales to China and announcement of RTX Pro, a new, fully compliant GPU for China. It said Huang in Beijing met with the Chinese government and industry officials to discuss how AI will raise productivity and expand opportunity and the discussions underscored how researchers worldwide can advance safe and secure AI for the benefit of all.

Huang in Beijing also provided an update to customers, noting that Nvidia is filing applications to sell the NVIDIA H20 GPU again, and “the U.S. government has assured NVIDIA that licenses will be granted, and NVIDIA hopes to start deliveries soon,” the company said in the statement. Then it said Huang announced RTX Pro GPU that “is ideal for digital twin AI for smart factories and logistics.”

The statement also confirmed Huang’s meeting with Trump last week. It said Huang promoted AI in both Beijing and Washington D.C., and in the U.S. capital, he met with policymakers including President Donald Trump. Huang in Washington reaffirmed Nvidia’s support for the Trump administration’s effort to create jobs, strengthen domestic AI infrastructure and onshore manufacturing, and ensure that America leads in AI worldwide, according to the statement.

Huang was reported to with Trump at the White House on Thursday. The same day saw Trump in a post on his social media platform Truth Social praised Nvidia for its substantial stock gain since his administration rolled out tariffs, and suggested the inflation ease and the boom in tech stocks justify interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve.

“Tech Stocks, Industrial Stocks, & NASDAQ, HIT ALL-TIME, RECORD HIGHS! CRYPTO, “Through the Roof.” NVIDIA IS UP 47% SINCE TRUMP TARIFFS. USA is taking in Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in Tariffs. COUNTRY IS NOW “BACK.””, Trump wrote, “A GREAT CREDIT! FED SHOULD RAPIDLY LOWER RATE TO REFLECT THIS STRENGTH. USA SHOULD BE AT THE “TOP OF THE LIST.” NO INFLATION!!!””
